The eighteenth-century Palazzo of Count Nadiani, from 1990 has belonged to the Maggioli family.
From a visionary idea and a deep love for food and wine, and thanks to the contribution of his friend Tonino Guerra, the publisher Maggioli decided to bring back to life the ancient ruins of the Palazzo Nadiani. The vision was to make it a symbol of local cuisine and a ‘stronghold’ of the piadina bread. Slowly over time, the walls, caves and lounges have transformed into the restaurant and Osteria.
From the basement of the building, mysterious underground tunnels meander underneath Santarcangelo. Reconstructed in their original aspect, the centuries-old cellars and deep caves used to store the wine and food of the Nadiani family.
